I have worked as a Speech & Language Pathologist in the Public School Sector for 38 years in NY, Vermont and CA and... have witnessed much dysfunction in the parenting realm. I am a parent of 8 children, and I so wish I had been able to take the 0-7 training before I had to "learn by doing". I... also do parent training for parents going through divorce and rely on the concepts from 0-7 for what we tell them...over 20,000 who have now gone through these classes and the most common feedback is "Why didn't I have to take this class before I had kids". We don't license parents (I guess kids aren't as important as cars), but if we did the Parenting Children 0-7 would be the required "Drivers Ed" that every parent should be required to take.
